The bucket list is ticked off

4-year-old Jalene Salinas is terminally ill. Her bucket list has almost completed her - Taylor Swift personally fulfills her last wish.

At the age of just four, Jalene Salinas has ticked off almost all points on her bucket list. She is far too young to deal with such serious issues. Unfortunately, she has no choice: Jalene is fighting end-stage cancer. In her brain is a malignant tumor that robs her of the last strength.

Jalenes mother wants to make the most of her daughter's life. It is probably one of the earliest completed lists of things one wants to achieve in life. Only one last point was missing until recently: The 4-year-old desperately wants to dance once with her idol Taylor Swift to their song "Shake It Off".

#ShakeItOffJalene

The story goes public via social media channels. Countless people want to help the 4-year-olds to fulfill their last wish and try to catch the eye with the hashtag #ShakeItOffJalene Taylor Swifts.

The action is successful. This Monday, the dream of 4-year-olds came true. Taylor Swift makes contact with the family and Jalene talks for 20 minutes about Facetime with her idol. The girl lacks the power to dance, but the phone call alone conjures a smile on her face. It's an incredibly emotional conversation, as her mother reports later.

Jalene herself can barely speak. The condition of the 4-year-old has deteriorated dramatically over the weekend, the girl is too weak to get up. After ten months of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, the girl's powers are at an end.

Thanks to the cohesion of countless strangers, the last wish of the terminally ill 4-year-olds could be fulfilled. Taylor Swift has heard the cry for help and let Jalene forget her fate for a moment.
