More than two billion T-shirts are sold worldwide every year. The question remains: Which are good and which are not? We'll tell you what to look for in the next shirt shopping.
Material: A combed cotton T-shirt wears best. This fiber is lightweight, absorbs moisture well, but also dries quickly. Particularly recommended are Sea Island cotton from the USA, Mako cotton from Egypt and Prima Cotton from Peru.
Elasticity: If you stretch a good shirt with your hand or body, it zaps back to its original shape. Finely ribbed shirts are more snuggly than those made of single jersey, and materials with elastane blend stay in great shape.
Washing: More than a 40-degree wash must be able to withstand every T-shirt . Wash colored parts more often with wool detergent, so that they do not fade. Important: Always put T-shirts flat on the laundry rack so that they do not zippeln when drying.
