34 million people are moved to tears
Ten-year-old Emma loves puppets over everything. One day she gets a very special doll for free. When she looks at her, she screams briefly - with joy. Because the doll is more like her than any other.
Emma was born with a birth defect. Instead of her right leg, the Texan is wearing a prosthesis. Nevertheless, the cheerful girl is athletic, plays volleyball and football, swims and cheerleaders.
And just because she leads a life, like all other children too, Emma wants a doll that is like her.
Their parents wanted to fulfill this desire. So they went in search of a denture expert who is ready to make a doll prosthesis. They were successful.
The company "A Step Ahead Prosthetics" manufactures prostheses in Long Island (New York) - actually only for humans. But for Emma's doll, they made an exception.
They made a pink prosthesis for the right leg for Emma's likeness doll - just like Emma did.
"Thank you for making a doll that is like me!" Emma shouts as she unpacks. Tears of joy roll down her cheeks. Her mother is delighted: "Although I knew that Emma has always wanted such a doll, but I would not have dreamed how much she needs it ."
Emma's parents, Courtney and Justin Bennett, have filmed the gift presentation and posted it on the Internet. Although the video is in English - Emma's cheers are understandable in all languages, so over 34 million people around the world have understood it:
