6 simple DIY ideas to imitate

In autumn and winter, our decolourism knows no bounds. Tinker with treasures from nature like wreaths and floral decorations for indoors and outdoors.

That's what you need for the autumn wreath:

  • Moss (from the florist)
  • Straw oars (straw wreath, craft shop)
  • green flower wire (craft shop)
  • Berries: Rosehip, Skimmie, Rowanberry
  • Schiefernschild (craft shop)
  • chalk
  • Samtband
  • Wire cutters / diagonal cutters
  • scissors

And that's how easy it is:

1. Place the moss on the chanter and tie with wire.

2. Place the moss on the wreath, so that straw is no longer visible. Wrap the wreath completely until the circle is closed.

3. Assemble berries in small bouquets and fix them with a wire on a side of a wreath.

4. Label the slate shield with a chalk pen and fasten it to the wreath with velvet ribbon (facing the berries).

5. Tie the jute tape into a loop and fasten with wire over the slate shield.

What you need for the copper-colored feather pendants:

  • Embossing pencil (craft shop)
  • copper colored embossing foil (craft shop)
  • Branch with dried flowers or leaves
  • craft glue
  • Kupferglitzer (craft shop)
  • scissors
  • sewing thread
  • sewing needle

And that's how easy it is:

1. Draw a feather on the foil with the embossing pin.

2. Cut out the springs and scrape a contour with the pin.

3. Coat the dried flowers or leaves on the branch with glue and sprinkle with glitter.

4. Use the needle to punch holes in the stalk of the springs and pull through one thread each for hanging.

5. Cut the thread in the desired length and knot the feathers to the branch.

Tip: Instead of a stamping pin, a thin nail can also be used.
