Who are "the cappuccinos" anyway?
On the one hand the 22-year-old René Ursinus (vocals, bass, guitar) and his younger brother Michèl Ursinus (vocals, keyboards); both come from Holland. From Germany are also 19 years old Peter Brückner (vocals, keyboards, guitar) from Nienburg and the 20-year-old Robert Kaufmann (drums, vocals) from Bautzen (Saxony) on drums added. All four of them are "highly talented and simply sweet", as Kristina Bach with real enthusiasm after the selection of talented musicians announced.
The name of the troupe "The Cappuccinos" is program: The music should convey southern flair and zest for life, just leave a positive feeling, create a good mood. The songs were selected for the debut album, which simply carries the band name as a title, under exactly these specifications.
