Rose ball in Monaco

No - no one would have seriously believed that Prince Ernst August von Hannover (56) showed up at the Rose Ball in Monaco and amused, as it is called bourgeois, the dance floor with his wife Caroline (53). Nevertheless, the absence of the Welfenchefs weekend was the number one theme in the Sternensaal. Probably because the motto of the evening was spasmodically dedicated to the Kingdom of Morocco, the country from which the woman, with whom Prince Ernst August was repeatedly seen and photographed in a familiar way. But the Morocco motto had another reason: big money recently joined Monaco and North Africa's thriving millionaire oasis. Investors from the Cote d'Azur are building a glittering oasis in Morocco's finest city with posh hotels, casino and shopping center. There was much business to discuss between banquet and music.

On the edge noted: Princess Caroline looked even without a man again stunningly beautiful. Her three children, most notably Charlotte (23), received the most praise and applause from the festival commentators. Why? Because the trio brought youthful fresh wind into the otherwise rather stiff ball action. Romantic scenes were also observed: Prince Albert and his long-time friend Charlene (32) were unabashedly familiar and in love, which further gives hope for a common future of the two.
