More than 30 million young people had previously voted on their favorites via the Internet. And most of all the teenagers wanted to see a band on stage quite often: The Jonas Brothers. For the lead role in "Juno" Ellen Page may be the newcomer of the year and best actress, the film is Comedy of the Year. Musically, Chris Brown almost always prevails over the co-nominees. In addition to being the best artist, he also takes the prizes home in all R'n'B and Hip Hop categories.
The event will be hosted by 15-year-old Miley Cyrus, who herself receives three awards for her role as the title character of the youth series "Hannah Montana".
