What was going on, Mrs. Rakers?

Small breakdown in the news: At 20:15 clock Judith Rakers wishes the audience still "have a nice day."

Judith Rakers has been working for Tagesschau for ten years - the most watched news program on German television. But also years of experience does not protect against puzzles - as the studied blonde had to learn yesterday evening.

In a pink outfit (and the matching lipstick!) Moderated the beautiful presenter as usual the news: Hamburg applies for the Olympics, Schäuble criticized the Greek government and Poroshenko visited Angela Merkel. So far so good: All names Rakers has pronounced error-free.

And then that! At the last minute, a slip of the tongue sneaks in: "I wish you a nice day !", Rackers says smiling into the camera - at 20:15, so if there is not much left of the day.

The presenter can laugh at herself - very sympathetic, Mrs. Rakers!

The 39-year-old presenter corrects quickly "um, nice evening!" Grins sheepishly and looks a bit ashamed of their documents. She knows: If you make a mistake in the news, millions of viewers see it - how embarrassing!

The election hamburger, however, takes it with humor. She promptly writes on Facebook: "Thursday I'll be back at 8 pm, hopefully there will not be a 'Good Morning!' I welcome you to the Tagesschau! ' Out." Your post is decorated with a grinning smiley - and has been licked hundreds of times within a few hours.

We think: Everybody makes a mistake! Mrs. Rakers, you mastered it brilliantly and take it with humor - very sympathetic! Oh yes: And we at wunderweib wish you a nice day ! ;-)
