At the age of 17 she found her great love: Carolin Reiber and dr. Luitpold Maier were a dream couple. They made themselves really comfortable in their villa in Munich-Grünwald
Nobody rolls the "rrr" as nicely as she does - it became her trademark early on. Carolin Reiber already successfully presented folk music programs in 1970. The Bavarian with a soft spot for dirndl loves to the folk music today.
Skillfully she stepped in front of the camera. The charming presenter fueled her family for her performances. "My husband and my sons are the center of my life, " she emphasized again and again. In Munich-Grünwald they had settled comfortably. Dr. Luitpold Maier († 83) was the great love of her life. She fell in love with the fabulous "Poldi" at 17 at a carnival ball. "After half an hour he already knew that he wanted to marry me." Her love, which sealed her with the marriage in 1962, existed until his death in 2014. From this love, the couple also produced two sons.
Today, Caroline Reiber (78) takes great care of disadvantaged people in distant lands. For a week, the ex-host visited various projects, which are supported by the Catholic relief organization Misereor. She will visit in March 2018 a tea plantation in Sri Lanka.
