This sweet pony feels good in every stall. Just give him a new home and crochet it for your little ones or even for yourself!

MOWERS (WITH CROCHET NEEDLE 4.0 MM, IN DARK BROWN)
For the mane hair strands are crocheted from Lm chains. When working in these LM chains, you will need to pierce the loop on the back of the LM chain, not the two M links on the front. The Mane Guide specifies where to crochet short, medium or long strands. The strands are worked as follows:
Short strand: 11 ch, in the 2nd ch from the needle, 1 km to the next st, 9 dc. [11 ch, 10 dc]
Middle strand: 16 ch, in the 2nd ch from the needle, 1 km to the next st, 14 dc. [16 ch, 15 ch]
Long strand: 21 ch, in the 2nd ch from the needle, 1 km to the next st, 19 dc. [21 ch, 20 dc] 24 ch, continue working in the back loops of the lm-chain.
1st row: Work 6 dc in the 2nd ch from needle, 22 dc, hang a stitch marker into the last dorsal bone of the last st, 1 ch, turn. [28] When crocheting the M between the strands in the 2nd R, we work only in the back M-members, creating a series of unprocessed front M-members into which the 3rd R is worked.
2. R: Work between the strands in the back M-members. HORSESHOE
Reseal with gold in the 4th st of the 4th round. Starting in this st, crochet 24 km, 1 ch, turn. Crochet only in the front M members of the Km. 7 dc, 1 dc, 8 dc, 1 dc, 7 dc. [26] Decoupling.
Lay the dark brown thread loop back on the crochet hook and continue with the 5th round.

For the tail, we will crochet hair strands from lm chains. When working in these LM chains, you will need to pierce the loop on the back of the LM chain, not the two M links on the front. Leave a long initial thread.
1st round: work 6 dc in a string. [6]
2nd round: 6 dc, while ihm. [6]
3rd round: * Crochet 1 long strand, 1 sc in next st on base; from * still 5x wdh. [6 + 6 ch] bind off 1km in the next st, and sew on twine ends. Reposition with dark brown yarn in the untreated front M-limb of the 1st Rd and work the next Rd in the 6 unprocessed front M-limbs.
ROUND 4: * Crochet 1 long strand, 1 Km into the next unprocessed M-limb of the base; from * still 5x wdh. [6 + 6 ch] bind off 1km in the next st, and sew on the twine end.
COMPLETION
Sew the eyelids in an arch over the eyes. Press the ears flat. Make sure that the thread end is on the side. Fold one ear at the bottom, open end in the middle to form a leaf shape and sew the ends together. Fold the second ear in the opposite direction so that the shape of the two ears is mirrored. Then sew the ends together. Position both ears at the top of the head.
