For a bride in the UK, the worst thing you can think of is that she lost all her luggage on the way to the wedding. But the bridal couple's hotel makes the situation public, the response is overwhelming.
Lucia Sessions and her future husband had chosen a truly romantic location for their wedding: the Orkney Islands north of Scotland. Unfortunately, you have to travel a bit to get there. And that's exactly where it happened: The bride lost all her luggage and had no chance to get the luggage in time. No dress, hair or shoes the day before the wedding - what a nightmare!
The saving idea: The Kirkwell Hotel, where the couple had booked, posted a heartbreaking appeal:

And the response to the call was overwhelming: several women offered shoes and dresses in different sizes. Lucia only had to choose. And was even suitably dressed Scottish to her husband.
