The presenter and the ballet shoes

Moderator Susan Stahnke (45) was a young girl who loved the art of ballet. She has never lost this fascination. Now she was allowed to meet ballet dancer Polina Semionova (28) in the "table talk" and talk to the famous ballerina about her shared passion.

We met Susan Stahnke at the posh Süllberg Hotel in Hamburg and talked about her dream .

The dance of Polina moved you to tears. Why?

Susan Stahnke: I admire her very much because she presents the heaviest figures gracefully and weightlessly. She dances like from another star.

Ballet also determined your life. Were you infected as a child by the ballet series "Anna"?

Susan Stahnke: As a kid, the desire for dance was just deep inside me. When "Anna" was playing, I had been dancing a few years. I invited Silvia Seidel for a "table talk". Unfortunately, she did not want to go public anymore. Your suicide has affected me incredibly.

How did your ballet career fail?

Susan Stahnke: I got the offer from Werner Veigel to speak the "Tagesschau" - but I never lost my love for the ballet.

With us you can now see the beautiful interview between Susan Stahnke and Polina Semionova.
