What does the den number for tights say ?
The den number determines the firmness. Up to 40 we speak of transparent, between 40 and 60 semi-opaque and from 60 the opaque tights. Only from 100 den really no skin seems through.
Which material is best?
Nylons with spandex share like a second skin, but are also very susceptible to running. Especially skin-friendly and lightweight are tights made of microfibres. Their soft surface makes them very comfortable.
Which models conjure up slim?
Opaque models in dark colors are ideal. Only from 100 den the material is so strong that automatically enters a small slim effect. So-called shaping tights have reinforced pelvic or leg areas that model.
Which tights keep you warm?
Tights made of special warm fibers ("warm fiber") store the body heat and often have a reinforced panty section, which also protects the kidneys. Wool or cotton models often are not enough for winter temperatures.
Which patterns with strong legs ?
Long stripes, spikes or lines visually stretch the leg. Here, too, rely on dark colors and prefer to choose small patterns, it seems more filigree. Pay attention to the right size: Extensive prints or motifs do the opposite.
What can wellness tights do?
Active ingredients such as moisturizing aloe vera or firming caffeine usually do not survive the first wash. Better are tights with compression effect, which relieve heavy legs, because they stimulate blood circulation.
Are there any health tights that look good?
Models with the suffix "Lycra LegCare" refer to compression models. These tights are simple and visually indistinguishable from ordinary. Are there so far but only plain colors.
Dear shiny or at least matt?
Opaque tights should always be dull, otherwise the legs look stronger than they are. In fine, skin-colored models, however, a slight shimmer makes the legs look smoother and even more even.
What to do if the dress "stuck" t?
So that skirt and tights do not stick together constantly while walking, the static charge must be prevented. This is possible by the tights after washing with a fabric softener, z. B. in the sink, rinsed.
What to do during a run?
Clear varnish or hairspray prevent major damage in fine models: remove pantyhose and treat the affected area all around, then allow to dry well. Holes in stronger shaping models can be mended with needle and thread.
