The label Abercrombie & Fitch launches jeans size 000

Who should fit in there please? The American fashion brand is obviously relying on skinny customers through the sale of jeans in children's format.

The anti-trend

Away from lean models and unrealistically small clothing sizes - this is the trend of brands, such as H & M or mango. But Abercrombie & Fitch obviously does not want to jump on this success. There is no other way to explain why the group is now bringing out jeans in the new size Triple Zero.

The size 000 corresponds to the German clothing size 28. For comparison: An average woman wears in Germany dress size 38/40. So, if you fit Size Triple Zero, you're more likely to have the dimensions of a little girl than a woman's.

Hungry for size 000

Of course, there are always women who have a very slim figure - but that's not the big crowd. Therefore, Abercrombie & Fitch must now be accused in the international press of accusing anorexia . Because: The majority of women and girls who can wear Size Triple Zero can only do that when they starve.

Abercrombie & Fitch's corporate philosophy made it clear to CEO Mike Jeffries in an interview in 2013: "Every school has its cool and popular kids, and then there are the not so cool kids, we want the cool kids, " he said Manager according to world.de. After that it hailed immense criticism from all sides. Whether the company has done a favor with its new "sales hit" remains to be seen.

Clothing sizes from XL are anyway not offered at the American company.
