Blogger Michelle with a book tip

Summer time is bath time! And what do you do better than sizzling in the sun at hot temperatures with a view of the cool blue.

If you are bored while sunbathing in the pool, at the sea or at the hotel pool, you are welcome to book. That's exactly what I did and quickly bought the 2010 youth book "The Carrie Diaries. Carrie's Life Before Sex and the City "by bestselling author Candace Bushnell. Not only for die-hard" Sex and the City "fans, the shallow reading on 448 pages offers relaxed entertainment while waiting for a vacation or lying on the beach. Bushnell describes in style the teen years of the style icon and the main character of the TV series "Sex and the City, " Carrie Bradshaw. Author Carries High School addresses senior year, her first great love and her friendships. Carrie, a 17-year-old resident of a small town, dreams of moving to New York and becoming a writer. She applies for a course at the New York Summer School. She has to fight not only with a rejection of the application, but also with a scheming best friend, the planned study wishes of her father, some admirers, a school chick and finally also about her friend. Already here begins to develop Carrie's clothing style by idiosyncratic fashion creations, as well as by carrying finds of her deceased mother. At the end of the book Samantha Jones emerges surprisingly, as the first known serial character. It makes you want to continue "Summer and the City. Carrie's Life Before Sex and the City - Volume 2 ", in which finally Miranda and Charlotte appear.
