This embroidered summer bag in the meadow look is the ideal companion for a trip, the market shopping or the small shopping trip. With this guide, you can do it yourself very easily.
You need this:
- green fabric
- tape measure
- fabric scissors
- Iron
- sewing machine
- Stickvorlage
- bag handle
- pen
- Soluvlies
- pins
- embroidery needle
- Embroidery thread in light gray and white
And this is how it's done:
1) Cut fabric to 84 x 35 cm (plus 2 cm seam allowance each). Iron the short edges of the bag (top and bottom edges) to the left to create a clean edge. Then skirt.
2) Fold the fabric strips on the left center, iron. Sew side seams together. Sew pocket knobs (eg from DaWanda) with a piece of fabric to the bag, depending on the type. Turn finished bag to the right.
3) Copy the Pusteblumevorlage (download under the article) in the copy shop to the desired size, place on Soluvlies (water-soluble embroidery fleece / haberdashery section) and repaint the motif with a felt-tip pen.
4) Place the fleece on the bag and fix it. Stitch flower stems with light gray yarn and the dandelions with white yarn in a chain stitch on the bag. Pins.
