The photographer Liora K. and her friend the blogger Jes Baker show women as they really are: imperfect, but that's why it's beautiful.
As early as 2013, the idea for the Expose photo shoot was born. The concept of photographer Liona K. and blogger friend Jes Baker: They want to show women exactly how they look in real life. And with stretch marks, cellulite and all its curves. The result is a tribute to natural beauty.
This year, the friends photographed a total of 96 women and further extended the project. For most of the people photographed it was a big step and also a kind of courage test to face the camera. Many of them have been conveyed in one way or another throughout their lives that their bodies are anything but photogenic. The Expose photo shoot was therefore a very special experience for each of them. A personal triumph.
The concept behind the Expose photo shoot is not just based on the idea of showing natural beauty. The initiators Liona K. and Jes Baker are also concerned with proving to women that they are not alone with their supposed shortcomings. The media uses a revised Photoshop image to give a completely wrong picture. Cellulite, stretch marks, love handles - all this does not exist in the world of glamor. In reality, we are not ordinary women with it alone. What proves this special photo shoot in a great way.
