Meeting of a special kind
A royal meeting of a special kind: In Copenhagen, the distinguished Countess Alexandra von Frederiksborg (48) and the beautiful Swede Sofia Hellqvist (27) met in a charitable mission at a UNICEF conference and got along very well from the start.
The ex-daughter-in-law of Queen Margrethe (72) and the eventual daughter-in-law of Queen Silvia (68) joined her concern for "Mother Earth" on that day. In particular, it was about the water resources on our planet and the uneven distribution of the wet good.
Countess Alexandra had been seriously committed to environmental protection at a time when she was still married to Prince Joachim of Denmark (43). Therefore she had been invited by UNICEF as a speaker. Sofia, the girlfriend of Prince Carl Philip (33) of Sweden, came "only" as a listener because she is actively involved in child relief projects in Africa.
While Alexandra in Denmark is suspiciously eyed by diehard monarchists, but ultimately tolerated because she is usually very cautious in public, Sofia splits the nation in Sweden.
The majority of Swedes vehemently rejects her, because she used to shine in TV roles with a slight hint of dismissal. A minority calls for tolerance and points out that every human being can change, and this has obviously been the case for Sofia for a long time.
