Death drama before baptism: The crown princess had been so looking forward to this feast day. But now there is a dark shadow over the baptism of her daughter Estelle.

Life is an eternal circle. He starts with the first cry at birth. And ends with the last breath in death. And sometimes these two events are just too close together - like now in the Swedish royal house .

Shortly before the christening of her little Estelle (three months), Victoria's uncle Carl Johan Bernadotte died . A death drama, the Victoria (34) just very much. At Carl Johan's funeral, she wept bitter tears for the death of her beloved uncle. And probably also her aunt Lilian (96), who suffers from Alzheimer's. Lilian is obviously so bad that she can not leave the house. At the baptism in the castle chapel of Stockholm, her place will remain empty.

It is so sad for Victoria ! For the childless Lilian was like a second mother to the Crown Princess.

Now Victoria is mom herself. And you must be painfully aware that her aunt will not be there when Estelle takes her first steps, speaks her first word and paints her first picture. Yes, Victoria is constantly reminded of how finite life is. Dark thoughts awake. What if something happens to her and she can not take care of her little sweetheart anymore? Before Estelle's birth, she said, "I am incredibly happy and long to meet this little person. We will have the pleasure to follow him in his development. "How gladly Victoria of Sweden would have experienced all this together with her aunt Lilian. And proudly telling her about the progress of her little darling.

But sad as it may be, dying is part of life. And when Victoria holds her "Lillesan" (Little Princess) over the baptismal font on May 22, her Aunt Lilian will be in her heart.
