Huhu, owl
This pretty pumpkin you can decorate with our instructions quite simply, candle in and ready is the autumn decoration idea.
You need this for the pumpkin:
- Computer, printer and paper
- Pumpkin about 40 cm high
- Adhesive strips (eg from tesa)
- Carving tool (craft shop)
- candle
- scissors
- cutting board
- bread knife
- spoon
- fruit knife

And that's how easy it is:
1. Print template and crop motif.
2. Place the pumpkin on the chopping board and use a sharp bread knife to cut out a 16 x 16 cm square.
3. Hollow out the pumpkin with a spoon through the opening.
4. Fix the owl motif on the pumpkin with adhesive tape.
5. Using a fruit knife, cut the template on the pumpkin surface.
6. Peel the owl contours with the carving tool.
7. Use a U-shaped carving tool to coarsely peel the pumpkin surface of the wing of the owl to create a spring appearance.
8. Pierce the individual "V" s with the fruit knife so that you can see through a small gap into the pumpkin interior. Just cut out the eyes and ears with a fruit knife. Put the candle in the pumpkin and light it.
