When you see someone for the first time, what are you looking for in his face? One would think we pay attention to the eyes, mouth, maybe even the nose. But no. Scientists now found that the most prominent feature on a human's face is his eyebrows!

The function of the hair above our eyes is not just to protect the eyes from dirt and sweat. In fact, the eyebrows are important to even recognize us.
That eyebrows are as important as the studies showed now, we would not have thought. Scientists at the University of Lethbridge in Canada showed test subjects pictures of 25 celebrities who had their eyebrows removed by image editing. And they showed them 25 pictures of celebrities with eyebrows, but without eyes.
The study participants were able to recognize 56 percent of celebrities without eyes. But for the celebrities without eyebrows brewing, the result was worse: Only 46 percent of celebrities were recognized without their eyebrows!
The final result of the study: For a lasting impression, the eyebrows are even more important than the eyes.
