A scary story
Where Prince Ernst August of Hannover resides, with whom he shares his life and what he works, is not known and probably no one should know. The situation is different with his younger brother. Prince Henry of Hannover is harmoniously married to Princess Thyra, has three children with her and does what he understands professionally: He publishes books with a historical background, mostly in the aristocracy. Just recently, Prince Heinrich of Hanover published a representative illustrated book entitled "KaiserKinder - the family of Wilhelm II in photographs" in his Göttingen publishing house MatrixMedia. Now the active publisher is dedicated to the Habsburgs. Yesterday, the Welf Prince in a scene bar in Munich presented the book " Blood and Champagne " (author: Nikolaus Fischer), which promises enlightenment in one of the biggest scandals that shook the Austrian imperial family. A story with a great scary factor: 122 years ago, Empress Sisi's only son, Kronprinz Rudolf, married to a Belgian princess, was found dead at Mayerling Castle in the arms of his blood-young lover Maria von Vetsera. Apparently, the heir to the throne had first shot the 17-year-old baroness and then himself. Since that night of death, the wildest rumors about the violent death of the couple entwine. Many pieces of evidence have been destroyed, much has been covered up. Murder theories are always flaring up. On the basis of letters from a confidant of the Crown Prince now light is to be brought into the dark. An exciting book that Prince Heinrich presented yesterday, especially when you know that he himself comes from a more than 1000-year-old noble family and had to live in close relationship to a similarly stored stroke of fate.
