Who believes that the image processing is a pure invention of the Photoshop generation, is deceptively powerful. Already in the old Hollywood was here and there times helped with the beauty of Actricen. After all, perfect photos meant more fans and bigger cinemas, just like today.

One of these historic fibs has now been uncovered: from a photograph by Joan Crawford published in the 1930s, the original version appeared. And the actress looks pretty normal with freckles, birthmarks and wrinkles.

But how did the small blemishes disappear completely without a computer? Even then there was a retouching machine on which the negative could be edited with a pen. However, this version of the photo editing cost the 6 hours of work. In terms of time, it would be safe to think twice nowadays, if you have to miss completely slender models completely new bodies anyway.
