Why this comment on Facebook inspires the world

A grandma posts a specific request on Facebook. A comment on the post is now being celebrated by the whole world - and with good reason!

Grandmothers are great. They always only want the best for their children and grandchildren. In the world of the Internet, they rarely occur - but some dare to explore the new technology. That they can even become famous, this granny now feels at home! Because even if nobody knows their name, now the whole world is talking about their post on Facebook - which has commented on none other than Mark Zuckerberg!

The grandmother seems to be quite internet affine - which is rather rare for her generation - because she is even active on Facebook. There she encounters a post in which the founder of Facebook describes his personal goals for the year 2016. The granny comments enthusiastically on the text with the words:

"I always advise my granddaughters to tell the nerd at school that he could become the new Mark Zuckerberg! [...] "

Her words are well received. More than 4000 people like their comment. But that's not all. What the lady certainly did not expect: None other than Mark Zuckerberg personally answers her comment! And although the words of the grandmother are clearly meant as a compliment, the Facebook founder contradicts them. He disagrees

"It would be even better to encourage her to * be * the nerd of her school so that she will be the next successful inventor!"

This reaction is now being celebrated by people around the world! Among more than 34, 000 comments, Mark Zuckerberg answers the post of her grandmother and is as sympathetic as ever:

Women do not have to marry a nerd to succeed. You can as well be yourself! The world is open to you.
