That's what you need for the stuffed dragon

• Red fabric
• Fleece in orange
• Fleece remnants in black and green for the eyes
• Cotton insert and filling cotton (haberdashery)
• Matching yarn

The templates

It's that easy

1. Cut out all the cut pieces with a seam allowance of 0.3 to 0.5 cm, taking all markings from the pattern and paying attention to the threadline.

From the red fabric: 2 x wings, 2 x ears, 2 x Nüster, 2 x head sides, 1 x head middle part, 1 x head part, 1 x tail tip, 1 x back (the length can be chosen by yourself.) Recommendation: about 65 cm long, about 26 cm wide)

From the orange fleece: 2 x wings, 2 x ears, 2 x nostrils, 2 x eyelids, 1 x tail tip, 1 x abdomen (adjust dimensions to the selected back measurements)

2. Sew together the small parts: stitch together the parts of the red fabric and the orange fleece together (ears, nostrils, tail tip, wings). Leave a small opening, turn around and stuff with cotton wool. Quilt decorative stitching on the stomach, first apply a wadding layer.

3. The head: sew all darts and prepare the eyes, immediately sew the black pupil to the green fleece. Sew side panels and midsection together halfway, first sew ears and nostrils to marked areas. Quilt up the eyes, then sew everything together, leave an opening. Turn and stuff.

4. Assembly: Cut two slits in the back part (about 8 cm behind the neck opening), insert the wings and sew them tight. Now provide the entire body with small wrinkles and darts and then sew with the belly piece. Turn, fill and sew the head by hand, while curling the neckline slightly. Finally, the tail tip also by hand.
