... and this decorative pitcher warmer . With that you do not burn your fingers and the tea stays warm longer. How it works, you will learn in our guide.

That's what you need:

  • teapot
  • A3 sheet of copy paper
  • Cotton fabric with floral pattern (fabric department, about 8 Euro / m)
  • Volume fleece line (fabric department, about 8 Euro / m)
  • Bias binding in turquoise (fabric department, 5m about 3 euros)
  • Sewing machine and matching sewing thread
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • fabric scissors
  • Iron

That's how it works:

1. Place the teapot for which the case is to be sewn on a sheet of paper.
2. Trace the contours of the pot.
3. If necessary, straighten outlines slightly, add 2 cm seam allowance and cut out.
4. Cut the fabric roughly and iron on the left side according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Place template on the ironed fabric and cut twice.
6. Approx. Lay 12 cm bias binding in half and stitch at the open edge.
7. Fold the fabric parts right to right, with the bias binding for the loop included, stitch together the rounding, turn over.
8. Cover lower edge with bias tape.
