How do you recognize real natural cosmetics?

The term "natural cosmetics" is not protected. A distinction is made between certified natural cosmetics with a seal of approval, natural cosmetics (as much organic as possible, as much chemistry as necessary) and classic cosmetics with an organic content. Good environmental orientation is provided by eco-labels (see below). If an "organic product" does not bear a natural cosmetics seal, only a look at the list of ingredients will help. It lists which ingredients are contained in a product. The order of ingredients corresponds to their share. So what is at the top, of which is the most in it.

Is vegan cosmetics also natural cosmetics?

No, "vegan" just means that these cosmetic products are free of animal substances such. B. beeswax. Sometimes, however, synthetic raw materials may also be included. Then it is not about certified natural cosmetics.

What are the strengths of organic cosmetics?

Pure natural oils consist of a large number of individual substances, which together have a multifaceted effect. This is how lavender simultaneously has a soothing and antiseptic effect. In addition, many oils have a skin-like structure and can therefore be better absorbed by the skin. Organic cosmetics also scores with the fact that it contains no parabens (artificial preservatives), silicones or mineral oil.

And where are the boundaries of the "Greens"?

Creams and lotions leave nothing to be desired, even in the anti-aging area. But due to the strict selection of raw materials, some products are not yet feasible, such as: As waterproof mascara, strong lightening hair colorants or sunscreen with extra high sunscreen.

Is plant cosmetics better tolerated?

Although organic care contains no synthetic fragrances or preservatives that could trigger allergies. But there are natural ingredients that also have an allergy potential. In this case, watch out for series for sensitive skin.
