Kaiserschmarrn: lucky recipe from Austria

This delicacy has more than earned its royal title: fluffier than pancakes, juicier than pancakes and goldener than crepe - Kaiserschmarrn goes straight to the heart!

"Mix the sugar, the flour and the milk, try it once in a while and then the egg comes ..." A Kaiserschmarrn is quick and easy . Refine your Kaiserschmarrn recipe with a pinch of cinnamon or a touch of vanilla and let yourself be seduced by the royal splendor.

Ingredients (2 persons)

2 tablespoons sugar, 140 g flour, 400 ml milk, 1 pinch salt, 4 eggs, 75 g raisins, 2 tablespoons butter, powdered sugar for dusting

preparation

1. Beat the sugar, flour, milk and salt with the whisk of the mixer. Embezzle eggs. Stir in raisins.

2. Heat half of the butter in a large pan. Add half of the dough, bake at medium heat from the bottom side until golden brown. Turn around with a large palette and let it boast. Then pluck the dough into pieces with two spatulas and roast them until golden brown. Keep warm in a hot oven (at approx. 50 ° C). Bake another Kaiserschmarrn with the remaining dough.

3. Sprinkle the Kaiserschmarrn thick with powdered sugar. To taste thickened cranberries.
