How should Dietmar Schönherr live without his beloved wife Vivi?

It is so tragic! The actor must fear for the love of his life

"The most precious thing that remains for me and my wife is the time we spend together, and we will certainly not waste a second on that", said Dietmar Schönherr (86) once, now he has to fear that they will not have time left. His beloved wife Vivi Bach (72) was completely emaciated hospitalized.

"Yes, the biggest problem is that she has lost weight, " says Dietmar Schönherr, when we reach him in his adopted home, a house in Ibiza (Spain). "She has a very strong underweight. It's hard to tell where that comes from. She eats very little. "

Dietmar Schönherr gives himself courageously, but is very afraid. Afraid that his wife would not make it this time. Because Vivi Bach has a weak heart, lives with a pacemaker. In addition, she suffers from osteoporosis, is blind in one eye and several times crashed very bad. Last year, she even broke her thigh neck.

Now Vivi Bach is only skin and bones, weighs no more than 40 pounds. But Dietmar Schönherr does not give up hope, displaces every gloomy thought. How should he live without her?

In 1963 it had sparked between the sweet Danish pop singer Vivi Bach and actor Dietmar Schönherr from Tyrol. In 1965, they stood in front of the altar and four years later they were with the ORF game show "Wish you something" (1969 - 1972) on TV as a couple.

But her greatest wish was not fulfilled: a house full of children! Back then Vivi Bach dreamed so much of becoming a mother: "I want three children, all sons, like the organ pipes!"

Later, husband Dietmar Schönherr confessed: "We tried everything. But the children have always died in the womb. Vivi has even undergone surgery. Vain. Maybe the professional stress was to blame. I've often thought how wonderful it would be if I had a son. With a son I would talk about all that really moves me. But God has wanted it differently. "

How comforting it would be if Dietmar Schönherr now had a son who would stand by his side in his great concern for Vivi! With whom he could share his pain. But he is alone with his grief.

But he does not complain, but said recently: "Vivi and I have experienced a lot together. That connects and makes you very happy. We are closer today than we ever were. I would never abandon my Vivi. "

How true. Every day, Dietmar Schönherr visits his seriously ill wife in the clinic. He sits by her bed hour after hour, gently caressing her, and always encouraging her. He does not want to waste a second of the precious time they spend together.
