Fashion show in Paris
Sweden bites in Paris! The fashion giant H & M showed its looks for autumn winter 2014 at the world's most important fashion week . At the Grand Palais, the fashion house presented a mix of feminine and masculine styles.
When H & M calls, they all come - to the historic Grand Palais. 600 guests, including stars such as Miranda Kerr, Jourdan Dunn, Jessica Alba, Solange Knowles, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, blended into an abstract cityscape. A great contrast to the time-honored ambience. The perfect sound was provided by French newcomer HollySiz, who performed live during the show.
The look of the Fall Winter 2014 collection : a mix of feminine and masculine pieces.
Straps and draped tops that are worn under men's blazers, biker and aviator jackets. Silk crepe, silk satin, fine cashmere and velvet were the promising materials that were embroidered with sequins and gemstones, just getopted by faux fur coats that provided texture.
The limited-edition looks are part of H & M's new H & M Studio line - a term for the key pieces of the season.
"I thought the mix of feminine and masculine was fantastic at H & M Studio this fall, " says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Design, New Development. "Straps and draped tops are the new must-haves, especially for combining with blazers or Biker jackets, take the Parisian spirit and carry it into the world of H & M. "
The H & M Studio collection will be available in around 250 stores worldwide, as well as online from 4 September 2014.
