Various, blue paints have made this dresser an eye-catcher. Important here: To get the effect of stroking the drawers in the gradient.

Pimp my IKEA furniture

Everyone has at least one IKEA piece of furniture at home. But if you do not feel like living in a single style, you can easily customize Pax, Billy and Co. individually.

Under the hashtag #ikeahacks, Instagram offers creative ideas and exciting inspirations on how to turn individual IKEA furniture pieces into individualized designer pieces.

For DIY fans, this does not just mean painting, but also spraying, sewing, gluing and drilling. In this way, small pieces of art are created for the living space with few means.

Beautiful upcycling example: step stool "Bekväm". The simple birch wood kick from IKEA does not make much difference visually. If you prefer a more visually exciting look, you can turn to colorful colors and give the occasional furniture a cheerful pattern look. Blessed with two left-hand hands? No problem. The surfaces of the stool can be covered with colored foil or paper as well.

Storage table "Hemnes" is perhaps a bit sad in black. With a small diamond pattern on the drawer , the side furniture gets an individual look.

Everyone knows this IKEA armchair: But with a little fabric paint in yellow and soft pink, a quiet touch and a little patience, a wonderful - and above all unique - seating succeeds.

I got a little over-zealous with the fabric paint on an old chair this week, but I think I like it! It is definitely more unique now, to say the least! See the DIY for it on #sugarandcloth today, and let me know what you think!

Wall lamp "Astrid" usually has a plain white lampshade. That was not enough for this DIY fan. Without further ado, a traditionally embroidered fabric became the illuminant highlight. Long live the folklore look!

What to do with disused toy animals? Quite simply: they are sprinkled gold with spray paint and then mounted as drawer handles on IKEA furniture. Great!

The surface of the coffee table is already a bit attacked? No problem. With a template (for example, a cake tip) and Spühlack your choice, can bring fantastic patterns on the furniture. Scratches, water stains and Co. disappear visually in no time.
