Audrey Hepburn is still fascinated today - now her granddaughter is relocating

If anyone had asked us about Audrey Hepburn yesterday, we would have listed all her films, famous photos and outfits that made the actress so famous - but her granddaughter Emma Ferrer would not have occurred to us. The US magazine Harper's Bazaar may have changed that now. Emma Ferrer is 20 years old, studying at the Art Academy in Florence - and is cover model of Harper Bazaar's Septemer edition.
It was not hard to guess that the newcomer model pays homage to her iconic grandmother. Her arms in the air, she wears a Lanvin robe with a red rose at the waist, on other motifs she reminds grandmother Audrey, wrapped in her typical silhouettes, such as the black ensemble from "A Sweet Fratz". But the family relationship is not only due to the model in front of the camera, Emma Ferrer was shot for the September cover of Michael Avedon . He is the grandson of Richard Avedon, one of the most important photographers of the 20th century and responsible for many famous photo shoots by Audrey Hepburn.
"Glenda [Bailey, Editor-in-Chief] contacted my father, told him about the idea, and said that Michael Avedon should take the pictures, " Emma Ferrer told WWD.com. "The many parallels made it easier for me to approach this momentous task."
While many magazines for the September issue, after all, the most important of the year, select a famous model for their cover, we find the choice of Harper's Bazaar all the more exciting. Emma Ferrer impresses with unmistakable elegance, just like the grandma!
