Modesty is a ornament. But it's better to live without it - says a proverb attributed to Wilhelm Busch. It suits the life of Boris Becker quite well. Now the former tennis hero celebrated his 45th birthday. A day of rejoicing, where one actually looks back on his life, his successes and plans for the future.
But not Boris . He celebrated exuberantly in the London fine restaurant "Loulou's", opened luxury wine and fly guests. No trace of modesty. Boris celebrates the decadent life, presumably also to meet the demands of his wife Lilly. Whether she thanks him?
Even at his party Lilly was once again out of the ordinary: Boris' sister Sabine Becker-Schorp (43) and friend Christine had to support Lilly, she even mobbed her husband on the street. How embarrassing! And then that too: Boris flew to a poker event recently with an ambulance helicopter in the Austrian mountains - and proclaimed that still proud! Pretty shameless.
He seems to know no boundaries: he lives above his standards, shows off, while in Mallorca probably believers are waiting for their money. Mr Becker, does that have to be?
