Animal friends to make your own
The small fabric Dachshund is a real support in the household. The little guy makes a doorstop to stop popping doors!
That's what you need for the fabric Dachshund:
- patterned cotton fabric
- purple cord fabric
- Sewing machine and matching sewing thread
- fiberfill
- 1 (old) sock
- Rice or sand
- Schleifenband
- a small button
- soft pencil
- fabric scissors
- needle and thread

And that's how easy it is:
- Print the template and have it enlarged to at least A3 in the copy shop. Lay the cotton fabric on the right side and transfer the pattern to it with a soft pencil.
- Also put the cord fabric on the right side and transfer the template for two ears.
- Sew dog form with seam allowance down to an opening at the bottom of approx. 10 cm. Cut seam allowance to an edge of approx. 0.5 cm.
- Turn over the fabric and stuff the dog with cotton wool.
- Sew the ears around. Ears with a seam allowance ofapprox. Cut out 0.5 cm.
- In each case a small cross at the upper edge of the inside of the ear incision.
- Turn your ears upside down.
- In a (old) sock rice (or sand) fill and knot. To complain in the dog.
- Sew the dog down.
- Sew ears to the dog's head.
- Put the ribbon around the dog's neck and fix with needle and thread.
- Sew the button on the collar.
