New stroke of fate
The singer has to mourn again for a loved one.
You are plagued, dear mother, worried about our luck. Are you tired now, go to the father, leave us here alone. These are words of love and sadness that Andrea Berg (47) dedicates to her in-laws, Inge Ferber. The mother of husband Uli Ferber, 53, died a week ago at the age of 83.
When we visited Andrea Berg recently in her hometown Kleinaspach, the mother-in-law was already feeling sick. Again and again the singer hurried to the bedside, holding her hand. It was Andrea Berg to note that she was also in the conversation with us in her thoughts.
A consolation: Before Inge Ferber closed her eyes forever, Andrea Berg could say goodbye to her. Nevertheless - although the singer bravely acts in her grief, her fans wonder: How much suffering can she endure? Andrea had to cope with a lot in a short time.
Almost to the day exactly two years ago her father Jürgen († 68) died of cancer. "The memories of him I carry forever in my heart, " she explains in conversation with us. Not only that, but at the same time she was worried about her mother Helga, 68, who was fighting for her life after a serious car accident - and made it.
The farewell to her mother-in-law ruptures these wounds again. In addition, Andrea and Inge Ferber combined a relationship of mutual love and respect. Often they sat together and discussed the day. Past happiness.
But even if fate robbed her of a loved one, the singer wants to be strong. Not just for yourself, but for your whole family ...
