Why being alone is worthwhile
Not in a relationship? No reason to mope. The single-being has a wrongful reputation. We explain why.
Of course, nobody wants to be alone forever. But you do not have to despair immediately if you are not in a relationship at the moment. Singleship has a worse reputation than it deserves. After all, in this section you have the most time for yourself and your needs - and the best conditions to know yourself better (and to love yourself).
Not convinced yet? Here are the top 15 reasons to be single and happy with it:
1. Backpacking in Australia, semester abroad in South America? As a single you can do what you feel like and you do not have to justify that to anyone.
2. Going to parties and meeting new people (and men!) - no problem. After all, you do not have to explain to anyone why the cute guy with the curls looked a bit too deep in the eyes.
3. Eternal disagreements with the loved one stay out. Being relaxed has never been so easy!
4. Shave legs? Nope, not today ...
5. If you prefer to spend your holidays with your best friend, you do not have to have a bad conscience.
6. Women who live with one man on average eat worse, men the other way better. Somehow unfair, right? From now on alone cooking again.
7. Sleeping is just great when no one is lying next to you who is being scolded.
8. Other women are not competitors. At most, we make friends with them.
9. Dance through the nights and sometimes look too deep into the glass - to let off steam is best as a single.
10. Falling in love is always allowed. No matter in whom.
11. GZSZ has a fixed time in the daily routine? We do not have to discuss that at all. And in return, do not watch football.
12. If you can make your home without a husband, you have the opportunity to make the most out of yourself: pale pink flower bed linen and far too much deco trimmings are perfectly okay.
13. The ex hated the oversized cardigan and found us stupid with short hair. No matter! As a single we do what we want and do not ask if he likes it.
14. Take a painting course or start your own blog: There is enough time for personal projects.
15. First dates and first kisses - there are plenty of them. And if it did not work, we still have a good story ready.
So: glasses up and to life on. Because that makes as a single at least as much fun as in a relationship!
