Lovable, good-natured and also a bit quirky - Ted Mosby is probably the most sympathetic serial hero that we know. What we have learned in nine seasons "How I Met Your Mother" by the eternally seeking romanticist, you can find out here.
On March 31, the How I Met Your Mother series final flickered over American screens. Even though we are looking forward with a tear in the eye of the broadcast of the last episode on German television, we are glad, if serial hero Ted Mosby can finally close his "one" in the arms.
After all, How I Met Your Mother is probably the longest love story ever told. Ted Mosby needed 208 episodes to find his future wife, Tracy.
On his way there, he had to go through a lot - what we can learn from this, you will learn here.
1. Be a good friend!
No matter what happened, Ted Mosby was always there for his friends. Even when Barney slept with his ex Robin and ended up with her, Ted forgave them. Exemplary!
2. Try something new
Start your own company, spontaneously open a bar or confess your love on the first date? Ted has tried just about everything - and is up to it. He even got an ass antlers (even if that was one of his less good ideas ...).
3. Do the right thing
Although near-wife Stella had him sit in front of the altar for her ex, Ted Stella's friend Tony later convinced her to take it back. Those who do good will be rewarded - Ted found his dream job as a lecturer at the university.
4. Do not hang on the past too much
Ted was after Robin for years - but she just was not the right person for him. From this we learn: Only those who say goodbye to the past are open to new ideas.
5. No matter how tangled the path appears, in the end everything makes sense
Ted had countless (catastrophic) dates . Of course he often wondered about the meaning of the whole thing. In retrospect, however, his complicated journey led to a certain point: the encounter with his wife.
We'll miss Ted Mosby and the rest of the HIMYM crew, but we're looking forward to the happy ending!
