John Bramblitt paints beautiful pictures - even though he is blind

How does green feel? John Bramblitt would immediately know an answer to that question. Because the blind artist feels the colors with which he paints incredibly beautiful pictures.
He had just graduated from college and now wanted to become a teacher of creative writing. But then John Bramblitt had an epileptic seizure and lost his eyesight as a result.
That was in 2001. John became depressed, feeling isolated, isolated from the outside world. He had to learn to completely re-perceive the world in order to become part of her again - and, of all people, discovered painting for himself.
Visual art of a blind man?
John Bramblitt has learned to distinguish colors by touching them. Mix new colors - and not with your eyes to see if he hit the right note, but with your fingers. He uses special canvases with slightly protruding lines to get his bearings.
Meanwhile, John Bramblitt has perfected his art so that he can even paint people he has never seen in his life - including his wife and son.
