  • DROPS CROCHET NO.5, 5

GAUGE:

Notes on the instructions:

TEMPLATE:
See diagrams A.1 to A.3, to be found in the PDF of the manual under the article.

PONCHO - BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK:
The work is crocheted in the form of a scarf in back and forth rows and then sewn together to form a poncho.

PONCHO:
60-72-84 Stitching with double crochet hook No. 5, 5 Cast on Brushed Alpaca Silk (stop with double thread to make the stop edge slightly more elastic). Then continue to crochet with 1 strand Brushed Alpaca Silk. Crochet as follows: A.1a over the first 4 streaks, A.2a over the next 52-64-76 streaks (= 13-16-19 repeats) and finish with A.3a over the last 4 streaks. Then crochet A.1b over A.1a, A.2b over A.2a and A.3b over A.3a. Repeat A.1b / A.2b / A.3b to the finished dimension. BE AWARE OF MESH TASTING! Continue working until the work has a length of approx. 137-145-160 cm, cut the thread and sew it.

COMPLETE:
Lay the final edge approx. 41-49-57 cm on one long side of the opposite side - see dashed line in the dimension sketch (the opposite long side now forms a point towards the front center). Sew together - make sure that the seam is not too tight.
