Fancy new crocheting ideas? Then this poncho might be just right for you. Just try it with this guide.
Size: S / M - L / XL - XXL / XXXL
You need this for the poncho:
- DROPS BRUSHED ALPACA SILK from Garnstudio (part of yarn group C): 200-200-250 g color 08, erika
- DROPS CROCHET NO.5, 5
Pattern A.2b = 2.7 cm in width and 5 cm in height. 13 sticks in width and 8 rows in height = 10 x 10 cm.
The specification of the needle size is only a guide. If more stitches are required for 10 cm than indicated in the mesh sample, switch to a thicker needle size. If fewer stitches are required for 10 cm than indicated in the mesh sample, switch to a thinner needle gauge.

PONCHO - BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK:
The work is crocheted in the form of a scarf in back and forth rows and then sewn together to form a poncho.
60-72-84 Stitching with double crochet hook No. 5, 5 Cast on Brushed Alpaca Silk (stop with double thread to make the stop edge slightly more elastic). Then continue to crochet with 1 strand Brushed Alpaca Silk. Crochet as follows: A.1a over the first 4 streaks, A.2a over the next 52-64-76 streaks (= 13-16-19 repeats) and finish with A.3a over the last 4 streaks. Then crochet A.1b over A.1a, A.2b over A.2a and A.3b over A.3a. Repeat A.1b / A.2b / A.3b to the finished dimension. BE AWARE OF MESH TASTING! Continue working until the work has a length of approx. 137-145-160 cm, cut the thread and sew it.
Lay the final edge approx. 41-49-57 cm on one long side of the opposite side - see dashed line in the dimension sketch (the opposite long side now forms a point towards the front center). Sew together - make sure that the seam is not too tight.
