Little helpers for everyday life

Cork is in fashion as a material. We make a cool watch and a unique memo board with the natural product. Who wants to join in?

That's what you need for the wall:

  • Cork plate, Din A3, hardware store
  • Rubber band in pink and purple, 1 m each (Karstadt)
  • pencil
  • Cuttermesser

And that's how easy it is:

1. Draw the desired letter on the cork with pencil and cut it out with the cutter.

2. Wrap elastic bands tightly around the letter and tie them together at the back.

That's what you need for the clock:

  • Round cork plate or trivet
  • Clockwork (craft shop)
  • Cuttermesser
  • pencil
  • ruler
  • Craft paper in pink, purple, white and pink
  • scissors
  • Pinnnadeln

And that's how easy it is:

1. Use pencil and ruler to mark the center of the disc.

2. Using a cutter, cut a 5mm hole in the center of the cork disc so that the movement can be mounted according to the manufacturer's instructions.

3. Draw and cut numbers on construction paper.

4. Fix numbers on the watch with pin needles.

Tip: With personal photos you can make the clock even more individual.
