Knitting pattern for jacket in Ajourmustermix
sizes:
XS / S / M The values for the individual sizes are consecutive from the smallest to the largest size, separated by slashes. If there is only one specification, this applies to all sizes.

- each 1 Milward circular needle 2 mm and 2.5 mm, 60 cm long
- Wool embroidery needle without lace
- 5 buttons by Dill (Part No. 300964, size 20, 18 mm diameter)
Rib:
Row: Knit 2 stitches on the right, knit 2 stitches on the left. Recut: knit the stitches as they appear.
Ajourmuster mix:
Work in rows and rows according to knitting instructions 1, 2 and 3. The respective pattern and repeat sequence is described in the manual.
Lace pattern:
Mesh number divisible by 8 + 3 stitches. Work in rows and rows in accordance with Knit 4.
Knitting tension:
24 stitches and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm, worked in ajour pattern mix with needle 2.5 mm.
Back:
Cast on 102/114/122 stitches with circular needle 2 mm and knit in rib pattern, starting the 1st row and all subsequent rows (= odd rows) with 2 stitches on the right and ending with 2 stitches on the right. After 5 cm = 18 rows in ajour pattern mix with circular needles 2.5 mm weiterarbeiten. In the first row pick up 2/0/2 stitches and divide the ajour patterns as follows: 30 stitches according to knitting chart 1, 7/12/17 stitches according to knitting chart 2, 2x 15 stitches according to knitting chart 3, 7/12/15 stitches according to Knitwork 2 and work 30 stitches according to knitting chart 1. After 29 cm from cuffs for the armholes bind off both sides in each 2nd row 1x 4 stitches, 1x 3 stitches, 2x 2 stitches and 3 times 1 stitch. Continue working on the remaining 76/86/96 stitches according to pattern in the ajour pattern mix. After 49 cm from cuffs, bind off the middle 18/22/26 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. For the neck cut round in every 2nd row still 2x 9 stitches
Bind off. At the same time after 50 cm from cuff for shoulder bevels bind off both sides in each 2nd row 1x 3/4/5 stitches and 2x 4/5/6 stitches. The second page works in the same way.
Right front:
Cast on 47/51/55 stitches with circular needle 2 mm and knit in rib pattern, starting the 1st row and all subsequent rows (= odd rows) with 3 stitches on the right and ending with 2 stitches on the right. After 5 cm = 18 rows in ajour pattern mix continue working with circular needles 2.5 mm. In the 1st row decrease or increase according to the respective size (for XS = decrease 1 stitch, increase S = 0 stitches, increase M = 1 stitch) and at the same time divide the ajour pattern as follows: Work 9 stitches according to knitting pattern 3, while doing so Start with the 7th stitch of the count pattern, work 7/12/17 stitches according to knitting pattern 2 and 30 stitches according to knitting pattern 3. After 29 cm from cuffs for the armhole at the left edge in each 2nd row bind off 1x 4 stitches, 1x 3 stitches, 2x 2 stitches and 3 times 1 stitch. Continue working on the remaining 32/37/42 mesh according to the pattern in the ajour pattern mix. After 42 cm from cuffs for the neckline at the right edge in every 2nd row 1x 4/5/6 stitches, 1x 3/4/5 stitches, 1x 3 stitches, 2x 2 stitches, 5x 1 stitch and in every 4th row 2x Bind off 1 stitch. At the same time after 50 cm from cuff for shoulder taper, at the left edge in each 2nd row bind off 1x 3/4/5 stitches and 2x 4/5/6 stitches. The left front part work the same.
Sleeve:
Cast on 58/58/66 stitches with circular needle 2 mm and knit in rib pattern, starting the 1st row and all subsequent rows (= odd rows) with 2 stitches on the right and ending with 2 stitches on the right. After 5 cm = 18 rows continue in hole pattern with circular needles 2.5 mm and increase in the 1st row 1/1/3 stitch (s) = 59/59/69 stitches. For the sleeve bevel on both sides in each 8th row increase 15x 1 st = 89/89/99 stitches. After 40 cm from cuff for arm ball bind off on both sides in every 2nd row 6x 2 / 6x 2 / 5x 3 + 1x 2 stitches, 12x 1 stitch and 6x 2 stitches. After 60 cm from the stop cast off the remaining 17 stitches loosely. The 2nd sleeve work the same way.
Neck aperture:
Cast on 144/164/172 sts with circular needle 2 mm and knit in rib pattern, starting the 1st row (= front row) with 3 stitches on the right and ending with 3 stitches on the right. After 12 rows = 2.5 cm from placket knit one row to the right and knit a few rows with a contrasting color on the right side. These rows must be ironed, they are separated again when sewing the panel, it remains only the base color.
Left shutter:
Cast on 140 sts with circular needle 2 mm and knit in rib pattern, starting the 1st row (= row of rows) with 3 stitches on the right and ending with 3 stitches on the right. After 12 rows = 2.5 cm from placket knit one row to the right and knit a few rows with a contrasting color on the right side. These rows have to be ironed, they are separated again when you sew on the panel, leaving only the base color.
Right shutter:
Work in the same way as left shutter, but cast off 2 stitches evenly in the 6th row for the 5 buttonholes, and then reposition them in the following 7th row. Then as described at the left shutter finish the work.
Complete:
Close the shoulder, side and sleeve seams. Use the sleeves. Sew the two zips and the neckline panel stitch for stitches with stitches on the right side to the front edges or the neckline. Then sew the 5 buttons to the left shutter.
