Duchess Kate: Courage for the birthing belly

It changes the monarchy

It is hard to believe, but not long ago, the English monarchy threatened to end it. The medial mud battles that led Prince Charles (64) and Princess Diana († 1997), as well as Prince Andrew (53) and Fergie (53) to their divorces and after, did not bring the royal house the best reputation.

The cool, unyielding reputation of the Queen (87) and the truly royal cost, devouring a rather dusty monarchy, gave much cause for criticism.

However, the page now seems (partially) turned. The "PR miracle" is complete. The world is blessed with a prince George, who will someday lead the royal house to new highs.

The Queen can especially thank Prince William (31) and his wife Kate (31). While Prince Charles and his wife Camilla (66) clean the pawls every day, the sympathy points fly towards the young Royals. They show themselves uncomplicated, have no "legacy" in the form of embarrassing phone shots in the basement and ensure sweet offspring.

Duchess Kate seems to accomplish what only Princess Diana was able to do: to conquer the hearts of the people. It has a similar style, always elegant, restrained and at the same time natural.

Unlike Diana, she seems to get along well with her "shadowy existence" at her husband's side. As they say? Every successful man needs a woman who keeps his back free. Exactly this role Kate seems to want to take over.

And that depends. The bourgeois Kate diligently collects sympathies by going new, old ways. She presents herself as a modern woman of the world and always remains the girl next door. One could only observe this when she came out of the clinic after the delivery of her first son - Prince George.

Many ladies prefer to wear the widest possible dress to hide the view of the still present tummy . So did Princess Diana. Not so Kate. It showed what everyone already knew and what is totally normal anyway: a tummy after delivery.

No trace of vanity or excessive styling. Duchess Kate did not come from the hospital, but her mother Kate. Brave! Why should things be made more complicated than they already are? No wonder that the English royals are currently as popular as they have not been for a long time ...
