Instructions: Fold the lily
Granted - folding a lily takes a little skill. Once you've folded it, you do not want to let it go. Lilies look beautiful and fit on very special occasions.
1. Lay out the napkin in front of you.
2. Fold the napkin diagonally in the middle to a dreeick.
3. Place the napkin in front of you with the tip of the triangle facing you.
4. Now fold the right and upper left corner down to the top of the triangle.
5. Now fold the two loose napkin corners up to the top of the triangle.
6. You now have a square on the top in front of you.
7. Fold up the triangle below like an accordion.
8. This creates a small triangle over the rest of the napkin.
9. Now turn the napkin over and put the two outer tips together over the middle.
10. If necessary, fix with a pin.
11. Turn the napkin again.
12. Flip down the two freestanding ears. This is how the petals are made.
Tip: The napkin is much easier to fold when ironing the edges after each step.
