Away with the unsightly piercing hole

Those who have enough of their piercing and just take it out often experience a nasty surprise. Because the scars remain at the puncture sites. But there is help - with this method they disappear forever.

For a long time piercings were absolutely hip. But who wants to get rid of the youthful sin of the late 90s now, annoyed probably pretty much about the small hole that leaves the piercing without a plug. It is a scar that simply can not leave by itself, let alone grow. So one is reminded for a lifetime of the piercing of those days. Especially those who have been stung on the face are then rather annoying.

But you do not have to accept the unloved piercing hole . There is actually a method that makes these puncture marks disappear. It is a cosmetic mini-OP . It is punched out of the scarred hole with a special device a slightly larger hole. Sounds weird at first, but due to the fresh injury of the skin, the tissue can grow together again better during the healing process. After punching the small injury is sewn by the doctor with a few stitches. After a few days, the threads are pulled, after a few weeks, the place is healed (if there are no complications) and of the former piercing hole is only a small red dot left, but also fades with time.

The only catch: Since it is a cosmetic surgery, the costs are not covered by the health insurance. The price for the removal of a piercing scar is about 150 euros to 250 euros.

Incidentally, removal of the piercing scar on soft tissue such as lip, nostril or earlobe is much easier than a comparable treatment of cartilage tissue, such as the nasal septum or the small Knorbel at the ear entrance.
