Bullied for years: boy had long hair grow

The 8-year-old wanted to help - and let his hair grow

This boy was bullied for years because of his long hair. He had a good reason for letting her go that long.

Children can be cruel. They rarely hold their minds off the mountain, and they can be really mean to their peers. The 8-year-old Christian McPhilamy had to learn first-hand: he really only wanted to help and had to experience years of bullying at school .

He even had a really good idea: After seeing an advertisement for hair donations on the website of a children's home, he decided that he wanted to grow his hair and then donate it to people with cancer.

For two years he has not had his hair cut - and had to listen to a lot: As his mother Deeanna Thomas reported on Facebook, he was called by his classmates girls, and even friends of the family or his sports coach told him to get his hair cut off. Some even offered him money if he would wear his hair again for a short time.

But Christian was not deterred and stuck to his plan to help sick people. After all, his hair was long enough:
