Disney movie is based on autobiography

Speaking snowmen, trolls with magical powers, and a queen with magical powers - the Disney movie 'The Frozen' landed a great success in 2013 with this colorful story. But now one author accuses the American global corporation of stealing the story from her.

Officially, the fairy tale 'Die Schneekönigin' by Hans Christian Andersen served as the basis for the 2013 released animated film 'The Ice Queen' from Disney. Supposedly, however, there is another book that is much more similar to the successful film than Andersen's story - and the autobiography of a Peruvian author.

Isabella Tanikumi, whose real name is Amy Gonzalez, recently filed a lawsuit against Walt Disney Studios. While watching the movie 'The Frozen' with her daughter, she had a total of 18 striking similarities with her autobiography 'Yearnings of a Heart' noticed. The Peruvian woman is convinced that the screenwriters of Disney have used her book as a template. Therefore, it sued the American global corporation now to a total of 250 million US dollars.

According to the news site myFoxdfw (the online platform of television broadcaster KDFW FOX 4 News in Dallas), Tanikumi's story is also about the lives of two sisters going through different ups and downs.

The Peruvian author accuses Disney of having stolen the characters Elsa and Anna from her. In her autobiography she would describe herself and her sister as follows: They have different hair colors, own a horse and share an intimate love for one another. Here Tanikumi sees a striking resemblance to the Disney characters Elsa and Anna.

Also, the part of the plot by Elsa hurt the little Anna with her magic powers, should not come from the pen of Disney. Like Anna, Isabella Tanikumi suffered an accident for which her sister was responsible. And just like Anna, whose memory of the incident is wiped out with the help of troll magic, Isabella can not remember this incident either.

The worldwide successful film song 'Let it go', which even won an Oscar, is also part of the lawsuit. He is said to come from various book passages from Tanikumi's book 'Yearnings of the Heart'. It will show how the author will succeed with her $ 250 million lawsuit.

The talking snowman Olaf is not mentioned at all. He is not involved in the process so far. Although it would be exciting for him to find out what the real template could be for him.
