Family vacation on Ischia
Finally, no crisis! Far away from the problems of Cyprus, economic worries and political egg-laying, Angela Merkel (58) spends her spring vacation on the Italian island of Ischia and may be completely private .
Every year Angela Merkel and her husband Joachim Sauer (63) spend their holidays here and enjoy time away from politics. Yes, even a chancellor has to take a break.
And she finds them here on Ischia. Then we hike together and enjoy nature. This year is also Merkel's son from his first marriage, Adrian (37), with his little family with it.
So wonderfully normal is Angela Merkel . There is the common family vacation in Italy as well as the Schlabberklamotten and a cap instead of Haarsprayfrisur.
