Colorful birdwatching
Although it is not the three birds of the Brothers Grimm, but our colorful birds make a real decoration on your terrace.
That's what you need for the little birds:
- Sheet of paper for the template (The template can be found here)
- Cloth remainders for the bird's back and abdomen
- fiberfill
- Ribbon for the beak
- branch
- Straps for suspension
- Craft glue (eg from Pattex)
- fabric scissors
- Pen or tailor's chalk
- Sewing machine and matching yarn

- sewing needle
And that's how easy it is:
- Print template
- Fabric for the bird's back live right to right twice and transfer template for the bird's back.
- Sew fabrics together along the upper edge of the tape, leaving the belly open.
- Now transfer the template for the abdomen to the appropriate piece of fabric and cut it out.
- Sew the belly to the bird. Make a small opening for putting in and filling.
- Turn fabric over.
- Pad up the bird with cotton wool.
- Sew the opening by hand with needle and thread.
- Apply a piece of tape as a beak.
- Create three birds in this way.
- Tie down straps to a branch for suspension.
- Stick birds to the twig with craft glue.
