Letters are not just for reading
Letters and monograms are in vogue and decorate our home from now on. Here are four easy DIY ideas with instructions. Get started!
You need this for the flower letter:
- Cardboard letter (craft shop, about 3 euros)
- Steckmoos (from the florist)
- cutter
- about 13 rose
- secateurs
And that's how easy it is:
1. Carefully cut open cardboard letters with the cutter at the front.
2. Cut the moss into small pieces and press in the letter.
3. Cut the rose heads with the rose scissors so that the stem is only 2 cm long.
4. Put roses close together in the moss.
Tip: If the arrangement should last longer, lay out letters with cling film. Then stick the moss and the roses in the damp material.
You need this for the pinboard:
- Wooden letter (eg 38 cm high with canvas, Panduro, 9, 99 Euro)
- batting
- Fabric in light blue
- fabric scissors
- Stapler with staple needles
And that's how easy it is:
1. Place the letter with the front side on the volume fleece and cut it out with about 5 cm (do not cut out the holes in the B). Then put both on the fabric and cut the fabric just as well.
2. Lay the fleece and fabric on the letter, fold tight around the edges and staple all around.
3. Cut crosses in the holes of the letter. Turn the triangular cloths inwards and also tie them up.

What you need for the letter cups:
- white cups (eg from Depot, 1, 59 Euro)
- Pen and paper
- Porcelain crayon in blue (craft shop)
And that's how easy it is:
1. Mark letters of the desired size and shape on the paper.
2. Then transfer with porcelain pin to the cup and heat according to the manufacturer in the oven to make the color durable.
Tip: Degrease the cup beforehand to keep the color better.

You need this for the wall letter:
- Tile stickers (eg from boubouki on Dawanda.com, set of 4, 10 x 10 cm, from 6 Euro)
- pencil
- spirit level
And that's how easy it is:
1. Use a spirit level and pencil to delineate guide lines delicately on the wall.
2. Stick the tile sticker in the desired letter form to the wall and apply it.
Tip: Do not use on woodchip wallpaper, the stickers will not hold there.
