Visit to Australia
The real Queen was only a few weeks ago in Australia, mobilized the masses and reaped much rejoicing and respect as head of state. Obviously, the Australians respect their royals.
But now when visiting Denmark's crown prince family becomes clear: The Australians are crazy about the royal splendor that spills over from Europe to them. Especially the attractive Mary of Denmark is applauded. Why? They regard her as her princess, after all, Mary of Denmark comes from beautiful Tasmania. And of course Australia's royals in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra are also from the royal babies Josephine and Vincent. The crown prince and his pair of ten-month-olds have spent the grueling flight halfway around the world introducing them to Mary's relatives and friends in Hobart. A nice gesture. Originally it was said that all four children were allowed to come, but this was abandoned at short notice. That Frederik informs himself in Australia with a Danish business delegation about renewable energy, should have a valid background. So he can claim at least part of this private trip as official expenses. In his home country, he is considered an energy waster - due to the luxurious lifestyle of his small family and his extensive car collection - all fuel-guzzling vintage. But the Australians do not see so closely. They look more at his wife anyway and acknowledge with applause that Mary of Denmark presents herself, as hoped, elegantly summery. She gives herself very relaxed and emphasizes that she lives up to her reputation as a fashion queen . You can see, the Australians are on European fate, which of course they were not allowed to expect from their always conservatively dressed Queen from London .
